Posted Jun 23/11 - Trail Rays 2011 Junior Babe Ruth Champions

The Trail Rays have captured the 2011 Junior Babe Ruth Championship. The Rays beat Castlegar in the final game 11-0.

The Rays finished first in the regular season and then defeated Nelson to advance to the final.

Congratulations to Castlegar on making it to the final game. They beat Grand Forks and then the Trail Yankees to get to the final.

American Legion AAA (Jays), AA (Diamondbacks), A (Phillies) will be held in Trail on the weekend of May 6-8th. All West Kootenay players born from 1992-1997 welcome.

Tryouts will be as follows:

Friday May 6th 6pm-9pm

Saturday May 7th 9am-12pm

Sunday May 8th 10am-12pm
