By a chance meeting, Brandon joined the Cougars part way through the Spring 08 season while splitting time in one of Las Vegas's Mexican Leagues. He has joined the team and added a great bat and a few innings on the mound, all be it thrust back onto the mound, after not pitching for sometime.
