Mike Roth is the first name any coach can pencil into a baseball lineup. He is the definition of a clean-up hitter. Mike played most of his amateur ball with the Worthington Cubs. Last summer after a chance meeting with Appel and Nellie he joined the Mayer Blazers. Prior to the 2011 season, Mike had taken a 10 year break from baseball. In his first game back, he hit a moon ball. Look at this 2011 stat line...(.289 avg. 24/80, 4 HR, 5 Doubles, and 17 RBI. All put him on the leader board for the Crow River Valley baseball league. Mike is a true gamer and a leader on any roster. His passion for the game is immediately evident when to take the field with him.
