Other than baseball Mitchell also plays hockey at EVHS. Some of his interests outside of baseball are: golf, friends, football, basketball, soccer, camping out outside of EVHS the night before the 1st day of school and flooding the basement of his home and stocking it with trophy fish ("who needs a lake or a boat when you got a basement and a stairwell" Mitch says). His favorite baseball memories are going to Cooperstown and long weekend tournaments growing up. His favorite players are Bryce Harper and Stephen Strasburg, with the Washington Nationals as his favorite team. An unknown fact about Mitchell that he refuses to share with others is that his vocal range while singing can be as low as a bass and as high as a soprano, making him the 8th wonder of the world.
