PROFILE

Angela has played softball since the age of six.

Among the various travel teams she has played on in the Wheeling area are the Wheeling Park High School summer and fall leagues, as well as the Mountaineer League.

In 2008 and 2009, she pitched the game-winning sectional contest. And, in 2009, she led her team to the West Virginia Class AAA State Tournament by pitching, and winning, the sectional and regional titles.

Angela was named 2009 Ohio Valley Athletic Conference AAAA Player of the Year. She also was named to the OVAC All-Conference First Team, the WV All-State First Team and the All-Valley First Team.

Like all Diamond Queens, Angela is an athlete and a scholar, boasting of a 4.5 GPA and a class rank of 22 of 385 students.

She will continue her academic studies as a softball scholar at West Liberty University, playing for Head Softball Coach Herb Minch.
