2010- After a two year courtship the Bad Boys have finally signed the chosen one, "Golden Boy" Eric Brubaker. Eric led both the Stadium Tigers and Eston Ramblers to the brink of their respective playoffs in the early 90's, only to be left on the outside looking in come postseason time. It was a different story at Pepperdine, however. As a senior in high school Bru committed to the '92 national champion Waves. In '95 he would be one of, if not the main reason Pepperdine made the NCAA tourney. That year Eric was an All-Conference selection for the WCC Champion Waves racking up 10 wins and 6 saves to go along with his school single season record ERA of 1.25. His 9 saves in '96 ranked 4th on the school's all-time list. He finished his career on the WCC All-Academic team in '97. Eric left Pepperdine as the career leader in saves with 16 and the career leader in appearances with 82. He also finished 4th in opponents batting average at .237, and 3rd in walks/9 innings at 2.17. With the acquisition of Brubaker, even 14 games into the season, the Bad Boys can now look forward to the playoffs. Mr. Brubaker is the principal at Narrows View Intermediate, and is married with a daughter and two sons.
