Columbus Lady Wings defeats Gulf Coast Tropics

            COLUMBUS, GA, June 2, 2012:  The Columbus Lady Wings defeats the Gulf Coast Tropics 103 to 80.  This is the third game for the Columbus Lady Wings bringing them to a season record of 3 and 0.  Flight 2012 has definitely taken off to a great start with the Columbus Lady Wings undefeated!

            Monica Sicka was the lead scorer with 23 points, Brittaney Thomas  and Domonique Gilbert followed Monica with a total of 16 points each.  Kendra Smith scored 14 points and Shanika Carter and Zipporah Horton both scored 13 leading the Lady Wings to victory over the Gulf Coast Tropics, whose high scorer was Corneisha Hollis with a total of 19 points.

            The Columbus Lady Wings will take on Montgomery Dream on Saturday, June 9, 4:00 PM at Northside High School Gym.  Regular tickets are $8.00, discount tickets are $7.00 for military, students, Muscogee County School District Employees, and Senior Citizens 60 and up with proper ID.  Children 5 and under are admitted FREE.  Group tickets are also available and can be purchased at Chalmers Support Services located at 3907 Macon Road, Suite B.
