FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Tallahassee Lady Thunder Semi-Pro Basketball Team Your Tallahassee Lady Thunder have done it again, adding another victory to the win column and holding onto an undefeated season in the Women's Blue Chip Basketball League (WBCBL) with a record of 3-0! As expected, the Mississippi Lady Storm (1-2) brought storm clouds and rain, but it wasn't enough to hold down the roll of the Lady Thunder, in a 65-40 triumph over the Lady Storm! This was the last home game for a few weeks as your Lady Thunder will be travelling to Biloxi, MS on June 4, 2011, for a rematch against the Mississippi Lady Storm. The Lady Thunder coaches and players know that revenge is in the eye of the Lady Storm, therefore, all stop-gap measures will be in effect to remain undefeated, and a grueling match-up is expected!
We'd love for the great fans of Tallahassee to come with us to Mississippi, but if you can't, then make sure your cheers and thunderous roar is loud enough for us to hear across state lines and onto the court to support your Tallahassee team! The drive to a WBCBL Championship is in sight and ever nearer!
