The Saint Louis Surge Announces Head Coach

Mesho Morrow, East St. Louis, IL native, has been announced as the Head Coach for the St. Louis Surge Basketball Club. Morrow’s role in a powerful Lincoln Tigerettes high school team, earned her a Full Scholarship with the Kansas University, Jayhawks. At Kansas her honors include: Team Captain; 2 Consecutive Conference Tournament Championships; and 2 Consecutive NCAA Appearances.

Currently, Morrow is the Women’s Assistant Basketball Coach at Florissant Valley Community College. Her resume also consists of 11 years Officiating St. Louis area High School and College Basketball.

Coach Morrow is also the founder and owner of Mesho Morrow Basketball Basics (www.mmbasketballbasics.com), where she develops and enhances the skill level of youth through clinics with cities, schools, churches and league teams.. 

Practice will start in April at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene at 3515 Shackelford, Florissant, Mo. 63031.  Tryouts will be in March, check back February 1, 2010 for time and date. 

Location for game facility to be announced soon. Games are Saturdays May-July 2010.
