Mavericks take out frustrations on Impact.
The Mavericks had one last chance to keep from going 0-4 this weekend, and they took it out on the Carolina Impact's Pitcher, putting a six spot on them in the first inning. Nick Myers lead off the inning with a walk, and Will Raines singled, followed by Luke Weber's walk, Shane Thurston doubled, Reed Rohlman then sacrificed in a run, followed by Dillon Whitaker's triple, Andrew Memmott would reach on a throwing error by the pitcher, John Mark Renfrow would reach on a infield single, and Perry Case would double, after all the smoke would clear the Mavericks would take a 6-0 lead. The Mavericks would add a single run in the fifth inning to win the game 7-0 and at least end the tournament on a positive note. The Mavericks pounded out 12 hits, 4 doubles, 1 triple, and stole 3 bases. Nice Job Mavericks. |
