FIRST PERIOD

Riels opened up the scoring on the power play with a blast from defenseman Sean Christensen his 4^th of the season with help coming from Glen Young and Michael Gorrie at 6:16.  Then at 14:59, Brett Charette scored his 12^th of the season on a nice three way passing play from Brian Dies and Russell Trudeau.  That made it 2-0 after one period.  Twisters outshot Riels 12-9 after one.

SECOND PERIOD

All Riels total dominations, Riels skated and out smarted and out hustled the Twisters in every category.  Michael Gorrie scored unassisted at 4:59.  That made it 3-0.

Then at 6:19, Russell Trudeau scored his 18^th of the season with an assist coming from Royce Nixdorf making the score 4-0.

That made it good night for Twister net minder Ryan Grossmueller.  Less than a minute later at 17:17, Glen Young finished off a play scoring his 11^th of the year with assists coming from Gauthier and Ziprick.  Score 5-0 Riels.

The Riels played a very discipline game.  The Twisters took 6 penalties in the second frame.  The league leading power play, Riels could not find the back of the net in the last 5 minutes of the second or else the score could have been a lot more.  The Riels out shot the Twisters 26-10 in the second period.

THIRD PERIOD

In the 3^rd at 5:35, Michael Gorrie scored his second of the game and 17^th of the season on the power play with assists coming from line mates Michiels and Young.  With less than 5 minutes to go in the game, the Twisters driving to the net broke the shut out for Riels net minder Kyle Vandemosselaer when Matt Mazinke scored from Remillard and Clark at 15:07.  At 19:53, Brian Michiels scored his 12^th of the season from Travis Ziprick and Glen Young.
