| Aug 1/09 - Orioles not Roadrunners get the best of Coyotes |
The New Prague Orioles defeated the Shakopee Coyotes 4-1 on Friday night.Both teams stranded runners early in the game, but New Prague took the lead in the third inning and never looked back. Dan Shetka would single to lead off the inning, that was followed by a nice sacrifice bunt by Chad Skluzacek. Dan Meger drove Shetka in with a hit to right field. Chad Skluzacek would give up one earned run through nine innings. Steve Olson would drive a run in later in the game, followed by Big Dust Steinhoff who would drive in two runs with his double off the wall. Next up for the O's is St. Benedict Sunday.  |
