The Neighborhood of Youth Coaches is not a membership organization we are not interested in fees you buying anything us sending you anything etc.

We are interested in you the youth coach gaining more knowledge about the game of football so you can teach the skills needed for players to develop, yes there are many youth coaches who win many games but ask yourself this question once that kid left that program was he really prepared for the next level ?

Many junior high coaches will tell you simply no because the kid hasn't really learned the basic skill set needed he may be fast and even bigger in youth ball but once he enters the junior high level with more skilled players he is lost in the crowd and in many cases gives up on football .

Its great to coach youth sports but become more knowledgeable coaches never stop learning the first time you really believe you are a great coach at the youth level allow your ego to get checked by going around coaches at the next level and get that feeling of being out of place when they use language you won't have a clue of whats being said or talked about, that will and should get you hungry for more learning about the game you watch .

Question for you did you know that most plays are called in this order ( formation-blocking scheme-motion-snap count- and any dummy call or audiable)

Did you also know that teams run concept routes and not use a passing tree there is so much more to the game than what you think you see.

All of the above was said to say you become a member when you really understand the game then and only then can you really become a coach .
