| The SEFL unveiled its first "Power Ranking" for the 2010 season. There were some surprising teams debuting in some surprising spots and some familiar ones in some familiar spots. There are many new and first year teams that were difficult to place and some older teams with name changes and new rosters that also left some uncertainty as to how good they are. With all the questions surrounding each team, this should make for an exciting and competitive year. The number one spot went to the 2009 SEFL Runner-up, the Central Florida Thoroughbreds. The Thoroughbreds are loaded, as usual, and are probably the only team returning all or most of their returning stars. Coupled with the fact that they were totally enbarrassed in their last league outing, they are primed to make a return to glory. At, number two, the Lauderdale Lions, are a complete surprise at that spot. Coming over from the NIFL where they finished as their 2009 Runner-up, the Lions have a good nucleus of talent that have been playing together for some years. They have a good team, but it remains to be seen if they can hold it together over the course of the year. Rounding out the Top 5 are the Brevard Warriors (3), the Knights of Miami (4), and the Florida Thunder (5). The rest of the ranking can be seen at www.southeastfootballleague.com |
