On a snowy wet and cold Sunday, the Richmond Chuckers and hometown Dodgers played a suprisely great game.  Although the field was soft, both sides had an opportunity to try different things and different players at different positions in game conditions. with thier teams. For the the Dodgers pitching was great, defence was good, but we still need to work on our bats and base running.  To the Dodgers' credit they came to play and showed thier potental as several key defensive plays were made including a great dive in left field and a great double play started at third.  Our pitchers induced several ground balls by locating their pitches and keeping the ball low in the zone and, when the Chuckers did make contact, the infield made several key plays to help out their pitchers.  

The coaching staff was impressed with how fast the boys are picking things up.  See everyone on Tuesday 5:30pm at the field.  Final score 10-5 for the Dodgers in 9 innings.  Thanks again Parents for all your help.  BTW uniforms looked great.
