Lady Hurricanes 11U went two for three at HRH Tourney today! The day started off early, with an 8am matchup between the 'Canes and the 11U Lady Neptunes as the snow fell outside. After pulling ahead early, the Lady Hurricanes went on to fend off a second half run by the Neptunes to come out on top. Immediately afterward at 9am, our girls faced a formidable 11U Red Tide team. The girls gave all they had, but the earlier game had certainly taken its toll as the girls ended up dropping the contest to the Red Tide. Finally, the team's third game of the day was played at 6pm against the 11U Lady Legends. Although the Lady Legends took the early lead, the Lady Hurricanes pulled it together and came from behind for their second win of the day. All in all, the girls showed enormous physical endurance and focus to finish on such a positive note. Each girl contributed significantly and today's wins were the result of hard work and trust in teammates and coaches. Be proud, Lady Hurricanes! Thank you, Coach Kenny, Coach Micah and Coach Dave for leading the girls today. It was a tough but very satisfying day!
