Posted Aug 26/13 - Streak Prepare For 2013 Season

New school, new arena, and possibly a new head coach. The Streakers, formerly the Wolverines, of Timeline Christian Academy will open the 2013 schedule on August 31st, 2013 against the Centre View Eagles. Bryce Washington, the interim head coach, will take over for Tevíl J. Hill for the 2013 season.

The Streakers lose big man Jayson Polakovic but added power forward Evan Rawlins and center Jason McKinley during the Summer. Both players are expected to receive valuable minutes as the Streakers look to win their third straight Achievers Conference trophy.

The Streakers are set to play 35 games this season with an appearance in one tournament and the possibility of an AC Tournament/NCBC Tournament berth. They will play sixteen home games and nineteen away games. The Achievers Conference All-Star game will be held at the new Streaker-Empire Arena.

They will play new AC Conference rival Centre View six times and will play host to the Eagles four times. The games are set to be broadcasted on the SNC Network and on air via Literary in America.

The starting lineup from 2012 remains the same with four returning players. Rawlins and McKinley could duke it out for playing time or share the position.
