Cardinal families,

Thank you for supporting the teams efforts this weekend. It is great to have this kind of commitment from everyone and it will go a long way towards a memorable and successful Cardinal baseball season.  I think that we accomplished everything that we intended.

It was a memorable weekend for the players who bonded together nicely as a team. Families were able to get reacquainted and families new to the team were welcomed. Competing against some top provincial teams from other provinces gave the coaching staff and players an opportunity to see where our team is at and what we as coaches and players have to work on so that we are able to continually improve as the season progresses.

We played some high caliber teams and baseball academies that practice continually throughout the winter. To compete so well is a credit to the efforts, competitiveness and skill sets of our players who only practiced together once outdoors together in Kamloops prior to the tournament.

Again thanks to everyone for making the tournament such a success.
