The Forrest Rockets celebrated the completion of the 2012-2013 basketball season with an awards banquet in the high school cafeteria on April 7, 2013.  A special thanks goes out to the Forrest Booster Club for sponsoring the event, Mr. Hoeft for the slideshow, and Hometown Grocery in Lewisburg for catering the meal. 

The Rockets finished the season with a record of 19-12, two wins over state ranked teams, and an 8-6 mark in the district.  This team also reached the region tournament once again, which was a great effort in the difficult 9A district.  All of the hard work and credit goes to the players for all of their outstanding accomplishments this season!

Recognized at the banquet were graduating seniors: Mark Pope, Juice Rumley, Zach Horvath, and Dakota Zimmerman.

This was a season that Rocket fans could be proud of !  This team battled adversity and played hard every night.  To the graduating seniors, all of Forrest wishes you the best of luck in the future.  For the underclassmen, it is time to get back to work to continue the tradition of the teams that have come before you.
