In a must win situation against Victoria Red Eagles, the Abbotsford Angels needed to dig deep and find a way to win.  Liam started them off by getting on base early and promptly scored.

The game was a defensive battle through 4 innings as the score was 2-2 heading into the 5th. Jonah had pitched well through 5 innings.  After holding the Eagles scoreless in the top of the 5th,  the Angels hitters decided to take matters into their own hands.

With Aussie on second base, Tanner stepped up and delivered a double that scored Aussie.

Jeremyi followed with clutch hit that scored Tanner, making the score 4-2 after 5 innings.

Jonah was replaced by Jordan in the top of the 7th inning who promptly who went to work, striking out two of three batters to end the game.

The win sets up a great match in a battle of number 1 and number 2 in the regular season.  Abbotsford will face the Cloverdale Black Spurs in the semi-final at 1pm.

The winner goes on to the final at 4pm.
