The Abbotsford Angels bounced back from their Thursday night loss by taking the next two games to reach the final as the #1 seed.  After waiting for the torrential downpour to finish on Saturday that saw all games cancelled , the skies opened up on Sunday so that play could continue.  On Sunday afternoon, the Angels took on a young and inexperienced Coquitlam Jr team that were unfortunately over-matched.  Final score Angels 14, Coquitlam 0 after 5 innings.

On Monday morning, with an early start time of 8:30 am, the Angels were pumped up and ready to take on the division leading Cloverdale Black Spurs.  A team that they had beaten in a close game 2 wks prior. With some outstanding pitching by Jordan who was then relieved by Jonah,  the Angels put together a solid effort in the field as well as at the plate. Patience at the plate resulted in several walks to get base runners on.  Then the hitters went to work to score them.  Final score Angels 11, Cloverdale 2.

The Angels win put them into the final, once again against the Cloverdale Black Spurs.  The Angels seemed ready to repeat a solid performance as indicated in the first couple of innings where the teams traded runs.  With the score tied at 1-1, the Angels defence suffered several untimely errors that resulted in baserunners and eventually runs scored for Cloverdale.  Awesome pitching by Austen gave the Angels a chance to stay close but unfortunately, the defensive breakdown continued and the Angels spotted Cloverdale with a few more runs. Chase came in to relieve Austen.  The Angels did manage to finish strong by scoring a few runs in the bottom of the seventh and had bases loaded with the final out.  Final score, Cloverdale 7, Angels 4.
