The Abbotsford Angels played White Rock on Sunday, April 16 in a double-header at Townline Park.
Once again the Angels bats went to work in the first game which was highlighted by a monster shot over the right field fence by Sheldon. Once again, the Angels defence and pitching staff made things difficult for White Rock and did not allow one run in game one. Jordan and Liam combined for a shutout win, 7-0. In the second game, the offensive power continued but White Rock did manage to string together some offense themselves. Sheldon, Jonah and Liam pitched the second game and led the Angels to a 9-5 victory. A great start to the season but it's only 4 games out of a 42 game schedule and the powerhouses of the division will be the true test. Next game April 21st in a double-header against Richmond at 12 noon and Cowichan Valley at 6 pm.
