Posted Sep 22/14 - Dealing with player problems

Players seem to get themselves into situation's which require league's response ,in the RDFL players having off the field issues will find themselves out of the league sense the league is designed to develop player skills on the playing surface with support for off the field men development toward future work development away from football.

The RDFL being a junior development football academy program can't fully develop any player  attempting to move their talent up to professional league play problems unrelated to on the field, allowing them to take that issue forward with them a record of off the field probelms of players will be kept and put into a file on the player thus building an off the field profile of the player if he is having problems, that information will follow him into any professional league that would show interest in signing that player in the future, minor things won't go into the file but any type of domestic, drug related or abusive act will be placed within the file ,the league won't act as jury convicting the player but the league will not be a place where the player can continue to develop his skills.

Yes football is a sport with aggressive players and it is where players can get that aggressive desire to contact something out, but after the game it must be contained and used through conversation and thought.

Sense players will only be in the league two seasons at the most by league rules the hope is no player will have any off the field conduct issues ,but these are players still growing and developing into adult life from age 18 through 22.
