The game between Mill Woods White Sox and Confederation Park Cubs was suspended in the 3^rd inning due to heavy rains and the diamond flooding with Confederation Park leading 3-1. As a result, the organizers are scrambling to re-schedule the game as soon as possible, keeping in mind that diamonds at Mill Woods and Empire were flooded this evening, and may not be playable on Wednesday.

The tentative plan is that Mill Woods and Confederation Park will resume their game tomorrow at Kirkness Park (3251 151 Ave NW) at 6:00 pm. Kirkness received virtually no rain, and should be playable. The two games scheduled for tomorrow will also moved to Kirkness and will get underway immediately following the Mill Woods/Confed game. The scenario now is if Mill Woods comes back to win the resumed game with Confed and win the game immediately following, then they would clinch the host title. If Confed wins, it would most likely result in a one game playoff on Friday.
