Our handout section is loaded with local camps.  When UIL Wrestling started, the closest quality camp was in Oklahoma.  Now, you can find a quality camp in the Houston area nearly every week of the summer.  We are very blessed and should take advantage of the great clinicians that come to our area.  Get to a camp and get better!  For all Spartan Wrestlers, I really like to see them at Chertow's camp in June and Coach King's Dynasty camp in July.  You can always go to anything you want, but I really like our Spartans to train together.  If you are new to wrestling, there is a great youth only camp (K-incoming 9th grader) put on by Katy ISD (which most KISD head coaches work) in July.  I also recommend Coach King's Dynasty camp in July that has a basic skills session in a small group.  There will also be open mat sessions at Seven Lakes during most of the summer.  Train hard this summer and cash it in next season.
