The Sin City Titan's continued their mission to win it all by beating the Sox 7-5 on Sunday. Behind another great Chris Gschwender (7-2) pitching performance 6 innings 2 earned runs and 8 K's, and some timely hitting was all Sin City needed. The Titan's took control of the game in the 2^nd inning using their secret weapon (Coach Rick) who called for a squeeze play that took the air out of the Sox. With Jeff Mathews at third and the Titan's best bunter at the plate (Greg Gianoulakis), “It was a no brainier” Coach Rick said. Jeff took off for home and Greg laid the perfect bunt down giving the Titan's a 3-0 lead at the time. Then a 4 run 5^th inning sealed it. Tyrell Smith (3-0) closed the last 3 innings giving up just one run on 1 hit and five K's. Earning him his first save of the season. Hitting highlights included Chris Gschwender (.500) 2 for 3, and two RBI. Jeff Mathews (.419) 2 for 4 and two RBI, Anthony Ramos (.571) 2 for 4 with a double, CJ Najera (.477) 2 for 3 and HBP.
