The Sin City Titan's opened game one of the Play-offs with a pitching and hitting clinic supplied by their two Lefty's Justin Spurier and Chris Gschwender. Chris supplied the hitting with two long HR's and 4 RBI's. While Justin struck out 14 Durango hitters and scattered 4 hits while earning the win and player of the game honors.
The second game was a whole other story. With a third inning controversial ruling on a play at third base, in which the Titan's protested the ruling. Despite the protest the game was played out and Durango unofficially won 8-7. If the Titan's win the protest (and they should) the game will be replayed at the point of the protest which would be in the top of the 4th inning tied 4-4. In the game played out. Chris Gschwender continued putting on his hitting clinic going 3 for 3 with two more RBI's. Jarion White was 3 for 4 one HR shy of hitting for the cycle with a single, double and triple. We will keep you posted on our website to the outcome of the protest and scheduling of upcoming game.
