| Knights went 2-1 @Freedom 8th grade tournament in Freedom, WI. Knights played their first game against Appleton East which stayed close the first half. In the second half Knights press and foot speed was just to much for East in the end beating them 38- 30. Knights second game was against Seymour a solid team with a 6'4 dominate big man. Knights struggled in the first half but kept the game close. In the second half Knights got it together by doubling down on the big man and causing him to have numerous turnovers in which Knights captialized on by getting out on the break and the scoring. The Knights got a comfortable lead and never looked back beating Appleton East 51- 40. Knights third game was a all out brawl against Preble. With either team not able to pull away Knights played to the final seconds in which Preble threw a hail mary to win the game with no time on the clock to win the game 34-32. Good job to Knights for taking care of business in the 8th grade division. |
