Equipment Issue is this Friday July 19th from 6pm-7:30pm at the Dicks Sporting Goods Store located at 40404 Murrieta Hot Springs Rd. in Murrieta right at the 215 Freeway. We do need players there, some of them we do not have photos of and we must have a photo of all players. This will also be an opportunity for you to save an extra 20% on your entire purchase! This will be your opportunity to get equipment prior to the first day of practice. Please remember all players will need: Mouthpiece Cleats Protective Cup or Similar Item Chin Strap

Posted Aug 6/12 - Kick Off Event/Picture Day
This week we will have preparation for the Kick Off event and Picture Day on Saturday Aug 11th. Our team will have a location for "Home Base" We would love for your families to come out! Picture forms will be handed out at the Kick Off Event. Our team photo time is 5:30pm but I will need all players to report to our booth at 4:50pm we have to be in line in the staging area at 5pm. We will need 3 Volunteers for our team from 5-7pm Wristbands will be for sale all week for kids they are $10 each $2 comes back to our team. Prices day of event are $12 Game Items for our basket are needed please bring them by Thursday so I can get it wrapped by Friday Nights Practice to submit. Raffle Ticket Stubs can be turned in at the snack bar all week.

Posted Aug 1/12 - 1st Day Of Practice
Whitehawks Families, Practice starts this Wednesday at 4:30PM. Which means the boys should be ready to go on the field by 4:30. We are practicing on field #3 near the baseball fields. Our first week of practice the boys will need to come in their red shirts they were handed out at the car wash, black shorts, cleats, mouth piece attached to the helmet (NO CLEAR MOUTH PIECE), their helmets, and lots of water. If you have not received your equipment, or shirt or have issues with your equipment, YOU NEED TO BE AT PRACTICE AT 4:00 PM and see Coach Macias. Do not bring your pads and practice pants. All boys are required by Pop Warner to have 10 hours of conditioning before they can but on pads. If you miss a day during the first week, you will not be suiting up next Monday. On Saturday we have been approved to practice at 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM. If your son can not attend practice, please email, call or text Alysia and myself. Posted Jun 6/12 - ***MANDATORY*** Meet & Greet
We are having a mandatory meet and greet meeting on June 23rd at Los Alamos Sports Park at 10:30 AM. We will meet by the baseball fields under the big canopy. At this time you will meet all the kids, parents, and our Staff for 2012. We will also be sizing all our kids for equipment and collecting any paperwork that is still needed. School has ended and a reminder we need two copies of that report card. Parents kids will not be able to take the field if they have any paperwork issues.

Posted Jun 4/13 - Team Meet & Greet
Whitehawks, We are incredibly excited about the 2013 Whitehawk Season! We will be holding our Mandatory Team Meet and Greet Friday June 7th @ 6pm @ Copper Canyon Park. This is not just an opportunity to meet teammates, we will also be doing equipment and Jersey sizing. Your player should come in lightweight shorts and T-shirt so we can size as accurately as possible. Each player should also prepare 3 possible Jersey numbers. We will also need a deposit check for $300 payable to MVPW from each player. Checks will be held by league uncashed, until equipment is returned. It is very important that everyone attend as the Jersey orders will go in the following week, they are custom order and if the correct size is not ordered replacement will be at player expense. We will also have important information about dates for the season. If you need to turn in any paperwork you can do so on this evening as well. Summer Training will begin next Tuesday June 4th. Training will be on Tuesdays and Thursdaysfrom 6:30-7:30pm at Copper Canyon Park. Training will be run by certified trainer Ray Calderon from IXL with Combine 360 Training. This training was incredibly helpful last season, it focusses on speed and agility. This is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged. This is open to athletes from other sports as well. Pricing is $50 per month (8 sessions), or $10 per session drop in. If you have more than one child you would like to participate they are welcome. We will need to maintain 15 participants to keep pricing. Please reply to me whether or not your player will attend. If you would like an additional email added to my distribution list, please let me know and I will be happy to add it. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask. Certification Day is Saturday August 18th. THIS IS MANDATORY THERE ARE NO MAKE UPS THIS SEASON. NO SHOW/ DO NOT MAKE WEIGHT PLAYER IS DROPPED Arrive no later than 7:45am to Mt. Carmel High School in Rancho Penaquitos. 8am we will go behind the gates, we should be finished by 8:45. After weight certification there will be two scrimmages at 11 & 12pm at Bradley Park in San Marcos.

Whitehawks Families, Be advised Palomar Conference has sent us a revised schedule. The only two changes that affect us in the schedule are : Week 4 (9/24) will still be at 9am @ Los Alamos Field #1 however our opponent was changed to the Carlsbad Brave Lancers AND Week 6 (10/8) will still be at 8am but will be played at Torrey Pines High School against the Torrey Pines Falcons. Whitehawks, Our Weight Certifications will be held this Saturday, 8/20, at Mt. Carmel High School in San Diego. We would like everyone to arrive @ 7:35 am. ***Also we will be participating in this years Scrimmage Jamboree which will be held at Los Alamos Sports Park. We are slotted to have 3 scrimmages that day and they will all be located on FIELD #1 NORTH SOCCER FIELDS. Our scrimmage schedule is as follows: Game 1 Vs High Desert from 1:30 - 2:10; Game 2 Vs Moreno Valley from 2:10 - 2:50; Game 3 Vs Baldwin Park from 2:50 - 3:30. So please plan accordingly. Posted Aug 8/11 - ***Kick Off Event and Picture Day***
This Saturday, August 13th is our Kick Off Event and Picture Day from 3pm to 9pm. The Whitehawks will be taking their pictures at 5:15pm. Please meet at our practice field's goal post at 4:40pm dressed in full uniform and pads except your helmet. I will be collecting $10 per wristband this week (cash or check), remember buying the day of is $12. We will also need volunteers to work in our team booth, please let us know if you are available. Coaches, you must be there to have your picture taken for your badges. If you are not able to make it, please let me know. The league provided picture packet (is included in your registration fees) contains: 1. 3.5x5 Individual Photo 2. 5x7 Team Photo 3. Cardboard Frame 4. (4) Wallet Photos 5. (1) Button 6. (1) 8x10 Individual photo I will hand out picture envelopes the day of the event, the flyer with picture packages is available in the "Handouts" section of the website. The league requires each team to provide four volunteers the day of the Kick Off Event. The Whitehawks have two great families who have already signed up. Please let me know if you are interested in helping Also money will also be collected this week for Car Decals, the cost is $10 per decal so if you ordered one please bring cash/check to the fields this week, the order has already been placed with the vendor. Whitehawk Families, our first day of practice is in the books. Overall our coaches felt good about the start of our season. I was excited to be back on the field and I feel strongly about our Whitehawks. I know there are some kids that still have a few equipment issues and we will work on getting those resolved tomorrow. Posted Jul 31/11 - Football Starts Tomorrow!!!
Whitehawk Families,   Tomorrow is the day that the boys start getting out there on the field and showing everyone what the Whitehawks are made of!   We ask that players stop consuming dairy products at least 4 hours before practice. Players should show up to practice at 4:40, we will need to take head shots of the players before we begin and we need to be field ready at 5pm!  We will be practicing on Field 2 (Middle Field) on the North end, by the Soccer Fields. Being late or missing practice during this first week of conditioning will delay your player being able to get into pads next week, EVERY PLAYER MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 10 HOURS OF CONDITIONING TIME PRIOR TO PUTTING ON PADS, per conference rules attendance will be monitored.   Players should come to practice with the following: Spirit Pack Issued with Equipment (Shorts & Shirt) Mouthpiece Helmet Socks Cleats Plenty of Water Great Attitude Ready to play FOOTBALL! If you have not been issued equipment you can come early tomorrow @ 4:30 or meet with coach at his home today between 4 and 6. If you have administrative holds (paperwork) you can meet me at the snack bar tomorrow after 4pm or call me to make other arrangements today.
