The Chiefs return home after a successful week in Phoenix.The schedule consisted of 8 exhibition games and 2 practices.The facilities were great and they got loads of reps on dry and hot facilities.Pitching held up nicely after a winter in the cages.Hitting showed lots of good swings.
Updated Oct.22...The Whalley Chiefs are offering an off season workout and training package for all boys interested between 13-18 years old.Hitting,throwing,pitching and core strength and conditioning will be covered.Instruction is from the Chiefs coaching and training staff.All workouts are at the new indoor facility at Whalley Ball Park.The cost is $199 for the 7 week session starting Tuesday November 6 and running until Saturday December 22nd.Days are Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 9:30pm( 3 hrs), Thursdays from 6:30pm to 9:30pm (3 hrs) and Saturday mornings from 10:00am to 1:00pm(3 hrs).The coaches will instruct you on when and what time to be at the facility for those 3 days.Refer Player Only Tab on the site for details.Thursday's will be for core work strength and conditioning with trainer Gord Kerr.A Chiefs work out T shirt, shorts and a toque will be part of the package.Majestic sweatshirts will be available also for sale.Click here for registration details...
