| We will have a brief practice on Friday to review plays and practice shooting for Saturday's tournament. The practice will be from 7:30 to 8:30 at Monacan High School. |

| Kathy asked that I send out a thank you to all of the ACES for such a successful raffle. First prize was won by the Hugate family who are now the proud owners of a 23" Flat Screen TV. Second Prize, the Electric Scooter, goes to Lisa Teachey. We can't wait to see her ride it to practice one night! Third prize, the family fun pack, was won by Danny Edwards. There was a special fourth prize, Golf passes, that went to Caitlyn Will's neighbor. |

| The ACES had a great day of basketball at the 4th Annual VA Beach Ball 4 it All. We added two wins to our schedule and impressed some new teams in preparation for our super-regional in a couple of weeks. If you want to see your individual stats, click on Stats on the left side of the page. |

| The game is this Sunday at 2:00pm at the VCU Siegel Center. Please bring a couple of dollars to donate to Breast Cancer Research. Also, please bring money for concessions (hot dogs, drinks, popcorn). Finally, it is the Pink Out game. So, WEAR PINK! |

| The Aces opened their AAU season with an amazing performance at their first tournament the weekend of Dec. 10 and 11. They were undefeated in the tournament against formidable teams. They demonstrated the power of a team when every member on the court scored through the weekend! |

| To find practices and other calendar events, click on the calendar tab on the left. Then click on your team (8th grade or 6th grade) to find your daughter's team events. Next week the 8th grade team will not practice on Monday, 11/21. The 8th grade team will practice from 6:15 to 8:45 on Tuesday, 11/22 at St. Mark's on Lucks Lane. |
