Aukland's  cage work pays off!

Bad Boys leadoff man Matt Aukland wins Most Improved award.  Matt finished the season on fire!  Matt not only ended the season on a 6-game hitting streak, but a 6-game 2-hit streak.  In his last six games he was 12-23, a .522 avg.  In those six games he posted a .607 OB% and Slugged a whopping .652.  To go along with those gaudy numbers Aukland had 10 SB's, scored 8 runs, had all 4 of his RBI's, and all 3 of his doubles.  In 6 games!  Way to go Matt!  For the year Matt finished with a .315 avg. and set the bar ridiculously high on the basepaths with 18 stolen bases in 17 games, he also led the team with 16 runs scored.

Mr. Consistent

     Acree finishes the season on a 6-game hit streak in which he batted .348.  He also ends the season having reached safely in 14 consecutive games!  Jeremy led all Bad Boys in average(.345), hits(20), and RBI's(10).  He tied for the lead in doubles(3), and HBP(6!).  Mostly playing out of position at short, he was the defensive leader of the Orange Hats as well.
