Texas Storm Women’s Basketball Association was established in 2010 with intentions of creating a personalized environment for women to further pursue their dreams of playing basketball beyond their collegiate years.

Texas Storm has completed its fourth season with the Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League and is continuing to grow as an organization. We are not only offering the opportunity for Austin women to pursue their dreams of playing here in the United States, but to be advocates for the communities in which they reside.

Texas Strom enters the WBCBL 2014 season with high expectations as an organization and egger to compete at a high level. Go Storm!!!!!!

Texas Storm Organization Mission

  1. Create a woman-focused establishment that promotes the exponentiation of opportunities to the women of Austin and surrounding areas.

  1. Promote community awareness of the lack of women fellowship among post-collegiate ball players and to strengthen the female community through the fellowship of athletics.

  1. Confer our knowledge, skill, and love for the game of basketball to the community; not only through advanced opportunities for women to continue to play, but for the younger generations by hosting basketball camps, leagues, clinics, and open contingencies for personal advancement.

If you would like to be a part of the Texas Storm movement, please contact Head Coach, Steve Townsell.
