Posted Aug 4/14 - season finale

We finished in the semi finals for the second straight year. After starting off slow, we had a great second half to qualify for the Provincial tournament, then upset the thrid seed and went on to qualify for the semi final as the winner of our pool.

In a hard faught game, with excellant pitching on both sides, we fell 4 to 3 to Tri City Indians. For those that did not hear, Tri City went on to defeat Kamloops in the final game 11 - 5. They will go on to represent BC in the Western tournament hosted by Chilliwack.

A big thanks to all the parents for their time in driving the players to the games, and a bigger thanks to those that helped with getting our home field ready for all our games.

Enjoy some hard earned summer rest. Fall baseball will start the weekend of August 23. Watch our web site for futher updates.

Our Vancouver Mounties finished the round robin 2 & 1 and win their pool. Semi final game Starts at 9:45 am on Sunday. With one game remaining to play in the other pool, our opponent is yet to be determined.
