Three Rivers Sandblasters American Legion Baseball

Welcome to the home of the Sandblasters based in Florence, Oregon. We are sponsored by American Legion Post 59 and supported by Three Rivers Casino. Ryan Fobert, an assistant coach and teacher at North Bend High School will return to coach the Sandblasters, now in our 11th season. Coach Fobert was an All Northwest Conference Catcher at George Fox University and played under current OSU coach Pat Bailey.

The home games are played at John "Jiggs" Dodson field at Siuslaw High School.  We play in Zone 3 along with teams from Salem, Dalles, Stayton, Albany and Corvallis

Posted Jul 27/14 - Season Over

Three Rivers hot streak ended abruptly at the state play-in tournament on Saturday. After winning 9 of their last 11 games including the tournament opening game against host Doc Stewarts of Roseburg the Sandblasters needed a win Saturday to move on to tournament final play on Sunday. Instead, Three Rivers was shut down by the pitching of the Canyon Crushers. Stayton outhit the Blasters 12 to 3 and went on to win 5-2. The loss placed Three Rivers in a loser out game against Doc Stewarts later that day. Doc Stewarts sent Taylor-Rex Putnam of Portland home in the morning game.

In game 2 Doc Stewarts won 8-6. Three Rivers collected 8 hits with Taylor Travis and Pete Lahti collecting 2 apiece but 4 costly Sandblaster errors proved to be the difference. Three Rivers ended the season with a record of 12-17-1 after starting the season 1-9.
