TEXAS  STORM BEGIN 2010-2011 BASKETBALL SEASON WITH HIGH ENERGY

Houston-  The Texas Storm Womens Basketball Program will start its first season as a all tournament and exhibtion team in September with a exhbition versus Austin on September 18,2010 at Houston.

"All of the team have played together and we will add on a couple of new pieces to the team that will enhance our depth" added Storm Coach and GM Michael Lewis.

Coming from the Hurricanes will be team MVP 6-5 Center Joneeta Brown, 5-10  Guard/ Forward Linda Brown, 5-10 Guard Joneen Mc Intosh, 5-4 Guard Miesha Pena, 6-1 Center Kashana Conerly, 5-6 Forward/Guard Ashley Kirkland ,5-10 Foward Constance Bradford, 6-0 Center Briann Osborne and 5-3 Guard Chinarra Hunter. The team will welcome 6-3 Center/Forward Michelle Williams in December 

The teams exhibtions against colleges are growing. Games versus Blinn, San Jacinto, Sam Houston State and St Thomas are in the works. Tournament tour stops will include Las Vegas,Nevada  Nashville,Tennesse Atlanta,GA and Lake Charles Louisiana in 2011
