LET'S GO WHITE SOX: BACK to BACK Santa Rosa American CHAMPIONS
White Sox Dominate Rockies 8 to 3 in the championship.
The White Sox had a great year finishing 2nd in leauge by half a game(due to not making up a game against the A's), and battled through injuries all year. They also took three of four from the rivals including the championship for the second year in a row.
White Sox Hall of Fame: Trevor Colombano- great glove at 3rd and one of the purest lefty swings the senior league has ever seen. Sam D'Avanzo- arguably one of the fastest players in the history of the White Sox, his defining moment was when he ran over Kevin Wade at a critical point in a critical game against our rivals the Rockies. Sylvester "El Gato" Stalone- leader by example on and off the field, cat like reflexes. Tyler Johnson- brought an attitude that the white sox so desperately needed, his mother was also very intimidating to umpires from the stands. Jim Cavanaugh- best pull hitter in White Sox history, did a great job filling Colombano's shoes at 3rd. Ryan Cooney, Daniel Mathis, Zac Tiedeman, Nick Marino, and Andy Meyers.
