The Big Green Machine Rolls On!!!
On Wednesday, 4/15 we played to a 6-6 tie versus the Rockhounds in a game that was very well played defensively at times, and a little sloppy at other times. More or less what you would expect from 9/10YO boys coming off a two week break from when we played our last game. Defensively, Jack Adler was stellar, making two very nice plays at SS in the first two innings and then throwing out a runner at 3B from C in the 3rd. Max made two outs at 3B and both Colin and Will made catches in RF. Will's catch ended the game with the potential winning run on 3B - a huge play! Sean Gant and Dylan both did a good job on the mound, limiting the Rockhounds to five hits while striking out 4.  While our batters were limited to six hits - two by Sean - we put the ball in play from the top of the order to the bottom and this could bode well for us going forward. It appears that all 11 hitters are now confident and aggressive when the step in to the batters box.  Stars were awarded to Max, Jack Adler, Will, Colin and Sean!

This Week in Baseball

Please take a look at the Schedule and Calendar buttons to the left for the current schedule. We have three games this weekend - all versus the Rattlers. We have a game on Saturday, April 18 (10:45 on H1 vs the Rattlers - Crafts have snacks) followed by two games on Sunday, April 19 (1:00 and 3:00 on H2 - Ryan and Ellis have snacks). For the games on Saturday and Sunday please be at the batting cages one hour before game time.

If you would like for your son to get some one-on-one time with any of the coaches please don't hesitate to ask. We will do everything we can to accommodate and fuel your son's desire, determination and dedication.
