July 18
Cubs win Silver Medal!
After beating Red Deer and Spruce Grove in the round robin the Cubs found themselves facing a tough St. Albert team in the Gold Medal Game. Taylor Simmonds was a little too much to handle for our Cubbies but played with a lot of heart and deserve to be the number 2 team in the province.
John Forno was named co-MVP along with Taylor Simmonds from St. Albert. Keep checking our website for updates on the Western Canada Baseball Championship. Next game Saturday July 23 in Calgary against St. Albert and Spruce Grove.

Jul 11
Cubs' winning streak ends at 9 games.
The Cubbies beat the SJP Jays, the Edmonton Cardinals and the Sherwood Park Athletics this past weekend in Edmonton. They suffered their only loss to the Red Deer Braves.
John Forno hit for the cycle and ended up with 7 singles, 2 doubles, 1 triple and 1 home run. Alex Regan and Eli Prochnau also hit home runs.
Next game July 15 against the Red Deer Braves, first pitch 3:00 PM.

Jul 8
Cubs hold the Okotoks Outlaws to 1 run. Travis McConell, Eli Prochnau and Devin Williams combined for the win.
Next game Saturday Jul 9 against SJP Jays.

Jul 4
Cubs win Revelstoke Cougar Invitational Tournament.
The Cubbies ended the weekend with a 5 and 0 record. They beat Rutland (Kelowna) in the semifinals and Vernon in the finals. In a combined effort Jeremie Fagnan and Alex Regan won both games.
Alex Regan was named tournament MVP.
Next game Thursday July 7 against the Okotoks Outlaws, first pitch 6:30PM.

June 27
Congratulations to our Calgary Cubs, by beating SJP and Red Deer this past weekend the Cubbies earned a spot in the National Qualifier.
