The tailgating was a blast, thanks to the Alumni Association, Hooter's, Raising Cane's, and Pirates Cove. The Middle school team was out in full force eating everything in sight. The High School Pirates then went out and dominated St. Patrick's to the tune of 26-14. Great job Pirates. The Middle School Pirates played one quarter of defense against the Hancock Hawks. On the first play John Moore got an interception. The Pirates let up two TD's in 12 minutes of play on a half field. When the Pirates were about to take the field on offense Mother Nature intervened and the rest of the jamboree was cancelled. Tyler Ladner, John Moore, Prescott Williams, Derrick Williams and Kendall Walker all made big plays on defense.

The Middle school team will be participating in a Jamboree at Bay High on the 14th. They play the Hancock Hawks at 4:45 and Long Beach Bearcats at 6:30. Come watch the Pirates as they battle the Hawks and Bearcats. The Pirates have 16 starters returning this year.
