Thank you all for being flexable this week. We have 1 game moved due to field usage last min. Then we have out double header cancelled due to rain. Its gonna be an exciting year. We had a good first game getting our first win of the year against twin star. As everyone knows that game was moved last min due to a scetion game. I want to again thank everyone for being able to make the switch. The game started out a bit rough but we made it through. Niccolo pitched a great game going 5 and 2/3 innings recording 6 strikeouts and helping himself with 2 hits and an RBI. The Scots gathered 10 hits in there 10-7 8 inning game.

The weather held off enough thursday so the scots could take on ranview over at cretin. The bats went a bit quite thursday as the scots had trouble getting anything going. Luke and Niccolo both had 1 hit a piece totaling the 2 hits the scots had that evening. Luke pitched 6 good innings as the scots played a great defesive game against a very good Ranview team. The scots are scheduled to host Maplewood and Anderson-Nelson saturday morning and afternoon.

The weather would just not hold out for the games saturday. Both games were cancelled due to the amount of rain that fell. Please keep checking for any updates to the schedule as those two games will be reschedled in the sometime near future. Possibly late into the season.

We have 2 scheduled this next week on tuesday and thursday as the scots look to get back on track against West Saint Paul and Mendota.

Hello all, Welcome to the 2014 VFW Season. After such a great school baseball season we are now into summer. With that MORE BASEBALL!!! For those that are new to the VFW program. The VFW program is a summer team that takes Freshman and Sophomores and gets them ready for varsity baseball. This year we will have 18 games 9 home and 9 away games. At the end of the seaon there is a double eliminatiion playoff. The fee for this upcoming season is $200.00 dollars per player. This cover league fees, insurance, field permits, umpires and equipment. Team fees should be paid by the time of the first game which is June 3rd. If there are any questions any parnet or player has please feel free to shoot coach Zenda an email. Looking forward to this upcoming season.

This is the first year we have had a site for the VFW. If there are any parent who would be willing to take photos at the games for us that would be great. Everyone loves memories why not have a photo of it. It doesn't need to be just one parent or fan. Just someone who happens to be there on the day of a game and just snaps a few photos of the game. Under the videos link there should be a spot to upload the photos or videos. If it does not work please email photos and I will upload them.

I will update the site frequently so check back for updates on practices and possible changes to the schedule.
