Panthers beat Niceville(FL) and Grissom

          The Panthers beat Niceville out of Florida 15-5 to start off a good day. Daniel Koger pitched a good game while holding Niceville to 5 runs. The Panthers were led on offense by 3 homeruns. AJ Cole hit a grand slam, Andrew Dennis and Ryan Barnes hit back-to-back homeruns that led to the victory. In the 2nd game against Grissom, Barnes took the hill for the Panthers. He held the Tigers to only 2 runs. Josh Macurdy pitched for the Tigers. He held HHS to no runs. Grissom took out Macurdy and the Panthers erupted for 8 runs in the final 3 innings. Luke Leeth was lights out in the last 2 innings. It was Josh Macurdy's 1st loss in high school.



Panthers win 2 on Little Panther Night

       The Panthers continue their win streak by beating a very good Athens team. Athens came into the game 20-1 and ranked 4th in 5A. We got good work for our pitchers. Daniel Koger started the game for the Panthers. In game 1, the Panthers beat Athens 5-4. In game 2, Dylan Scilabro hit a game-winning single to right in extra innings to win the game. The Panthers will head to Sparkman Friday night at 6:00 to start off area play. Then, the Senators come to HHS to play a doubleheader starting at 1:00. Go Panthers!!


Panthers ranked 9th in 6A

       The first ASWA Poll came out on Thursday and has the Panthers ranked 9th in the state. The Panthers will head to Sparkman for the 1st area series on Friday at 6:00 with weather permitting. Then, the Senators will come to Panther Stadium to start a doubleheader on Saturday at 1:00 with weather permitting also. Come out and support the Panthers!!
