Posted May 16/13 - Carver beats Bruins 4 to 0
The Bruins couldn't get anything going on Wednesday night and ended up with a 4 to 0 loss to Carver.  The Bruins had their chances to score some run but couldn't get that him to plate some runs.  The Bruins next game is Friday May 17th at home against St. Peter.
Posted May 13/13 - The Bruins go 1 and 1 over weekend.

The weather finally cooperated and let the guys play ball.  On Friday night the Bruins hosted Sacred Heart and came out on top with a 3 to 2 score.  Joe Ahlers pitch 5 scoreless innings and didn't allow a hit. Matt Schwichtenberg came in and pitched well for 2 innings.  The win goes to Jeff Wendlandt who came in for Matty in the 8th and Ryan Grams gets the save.  On the offensive side the Bruins had 8 hits with Chad Draeger having the only extra base hit a double in the 8th.

On a great day Sunday for Mother's Day the Bruins fell to Green Isle 7 to 6 in 10 innings.  The Bruins had their chances through out the game to get the win but some key errors and some missed opportunities at the plate with runners on was the difference in the game.  Josh Wendlandt pitched a strong 8 innings but gets a no decision.  Hick Heller came into the game in the 9th and and was tag with the loss.  At the plate for the day Ryan Grams had 3 hits a stolen base and 2 RBI's.  While Jason Rosenau and Schwichtenberg each had 2 hits.  Both of Schwichtenbergs were doubles.  Jake Vacek also had a double in the game.  The Bruins next game is Wednesday the 15th in Brownton against Carver at 7:30pm

Posted May 4/13 - Bruins game May 5th is postponed
The game is postponed due to the fact St. Francis doesn't have enough players.  There is no make up date as of yet. The Bruins next game is Friday May 10th in Brownton against Sacred Heart at 7:30pm.
Posted Apr 29/13 - Bruin's win opener!!
The Bruins opened the season against Mayer on Sunday and came away with a 23 to 1 win in 7 innings.  Josh Wendlandt started the game and pitched well, he was relieved by Joe Ahlers with Nick Heller and Ryan Grams also pitching a inning apiece.  The bats for the Bruins came through when needed.  There were multiple Bruins with hits in the game.  The highlights were Daak and Schwichtenberg with a couple 3 runs HR's.  In talking to Schwichtenberg after the game he is looking at putting up some big power numbers this year around the 15 HR's and 50 RBI's mark.  The Bruins next game is at home against St Francis at 2pm.   See you at the park.
