The team losses a heartbreaker in the Elite 8, 28-26. The team played their best defensive game of the season by limiting the Suns 3 best players to a toal of 12 points. Zach's brother, Jake once again kept score but his winning streak ends at 2! CONGRATS TO ALL THE BOYS FOR THEIR HARDWORK AND SUCCESS THIS SEASON!

Player of the game: (Mar 8/08) Matt Berkowitz
Matt saved his best game of the season for the playoffs. Matt attended the last 2 practices and it really showed as he played strong pressure defense at the top of the zone. Offensively, Matt made some incredible strong passes to the inside players like Robert, Aalin and Skyler. I think having a lefty really is an advantage since the Suns did not know how to stop his passes inside. More importantly, Matt took the ball to the basket and got fouled. During the last practice, Matt made as many foul shots as Eli and I said to Matt that you are clearly capable of making the same shots in a game. Its nice when someone listens to you and it was proven as Matt calmly made 1 of 2 shots from the foul line. This was Matt’s first basket of the season but more importantly, it narrowed the deficit in the 1st half. Once again, congrats to Matt for earning player of the game honors.
