1/5/12 - In the Coaches vs Cancer Showwcae, The boys from Lee took on the Hoosac Valley Hurricanes and came away with an impressive 61-41 win...improving their record to 3-2. Heamon Williams topped the the scoring with 24 points...Jake LePrevost added 18 and the Wildcats played solid defense throughout the contest.
1/3/13- After falling behind 26-12 in the first qtr, the Lee High team came back and controlled the rest of the game...winning 58-51. Jake LePrevost led the way again with 27 points...Heamon Williams added 15...Deaglan Giarolo 8, and Nck Sitzer 7. Lee was able to even up the record at 2-2.
12/28/12 - In first round action of the Gene Wein Tournament, the Lee High Boys were able to get a little revenge and take down the PHS team that beat them just 2 weeks earlier. The Wildcats were able to hold the Generals (3-1) to just 28 points over the first three quarters with a 1-3-1 zone defense. It was far less than the 73 Pittsfield scored in a home win over Lee earlier this month. Jake LePrevost's 19 and 13 from Kenny Retzel helped the Wildcats (2-2) build a double-digit cushion Friday. Great Win Guys! 51-48. THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME WILL BE RE-SCHEDULED DUE TO SNOW.
12/21/12- The Wildcats got their first win of the season....travelling to the loud (and obnoxious) McCann Tech gym. Jake LePrevost led the way again with 19 points...It was an "ugly" game...with the McCann Tech crowdbeing vocal throughout (heck their cheerleaders even went ojn the court while the ball was in play! A little more scoring spread out among the team may have helped the cause ...Heamon Williams had 15, Kenny Retzel had 11, Paul Boutiette had 6, Ryan Kohlenberger added3, and Deaglan Gioarolo rounded out the scoring with 2...Great Win...56-49.
12/13/12 - In game 2 of the season the Wildcats faced Pittsfield High. The boys from Lee again lost both the JV and Varsity games, but the varsity team hung tight with the Division 1 foe for most of the game before PHS pulled away in the second half for the 73-59 win. Jake LePrevost again led the way with 23 points. Free throw shooting may have helped the Wildcats close the gap if they could have improved on the 52% from the line (25 of 48). Shooting 75% from the line would have made it a 73-70 gap, and maybe put a little more pressure on PHS. On the JV side, turnovers haunted the boys...make smart passes guys! 12/11/12 - It was a tough start to the season for the Wildcats, with both the JV and Varsity team's losing the opener...In the varsity game, Jake LePrevost led the way with 21 points. Lee Led most of the way, but fell short in the fourth, giving up 22 points, losing 52-45. 11/30/2012 - The First Annual Lee High Basketball Jamboree was held, and the boys from Lee did great. The gym was active with basketball games being played from 4:30pm to 10:30pm! In the Lee Boys opener they came out strong with a 37-5 win over Mt Everett (2, 8 min qtrs, running time). The next 2 games were a little tighter with the night cap being a tough 21-19 loss to Lenox in the last few seconds. All in all, a very good night...lots of playing time and different combinations for all. Let's Go Boys! Play Big, Play Hard! Play Smart!
