Cardsharks Sign Crews and Jenkins

The Cardsharks made a big step in building a championship caliber team with signing of Larry Crews and Jack Jenkins. I think the signing of those two guy's they are going to be the coner stone of building our franchise around said Mr. Lawson GM for the Cardsharks. We have faith that they will come in and play the way that has made them the most sought after players coming out of high school in 95 Lawson and 97 Jenkins. Larry Crews a standout at Clearwater Countryside High in 95 went on to a great career at Penn State moving from QB to WR leading the PSU in catches his Jr year but was sidline most of his Sr season with a knee injury. Crews did prove his talent when invited to workout for the Rams after the NCAA Senior Bowl which he had 3 TD's. The St Louis Rams signed Crews as a undrafted free agent in 99 and place him on the pratice team but was released after the season. I am excited to be back playing after traning for the past year to get my groove back I am ready to play ball. Crews at 6'2 230 with 4.5 speed should not have trouble playing QB. Jack "JJ" Jenkins a very fast and tall WR will make any QB happy at 6'5 190 4.6 speed he can go get the ball at the highest point. Jenkins played two years at Georgia Tech before having some off field trouble that led to the end of his NCAA career. Lawson who is the brother - in - law of Jenkins set him up with a workout with the Rough Riders of the CFL Jenkins ended up signing a 2 year deal but midseason of his 2nd year walk away from the game after having more off field trouble. I trust JJ now he is ready to play and I would not have signed him today if he was not ready family or not he know's he has to keep his nose clean and play ball said GM Lawson. The work is coming together for the Cardsharks.

Lawson who is a native of Baton Rouge, LA played his College ball at Ball State University and started his Pro career in the CFL as a member of the Ottowa Rough Riders. Mike has one Grey Cup Championship game he played in which was his last game before the Jets Organization signed him two a 3 year contract to help achor the O-Line. Lawson played 4 years with the Jets with two being played for Hall of Fame Coach Bill Parcells.
Mike Lawson now live in Plam Harbour, FL where he run's his business, Mike stated that he has tried to get back into the sport of football at the professional level only on the business side of the game. Mike will start his search for the Coaching Staff that will make up this Cardsharks team.
