Notes:
Port Washington was unable to fight back from the big hole it dug itself into against the East Suns Freshman, and Port Washington lost 4-3 to East after falling behind by four runs in the seventh inning.
Port Washington scored three runs in the seventh on a two-run error. Unfortunately, Port Washington wasn't able to take the lead back.
Carlitos Salazar had two extra-base hits for the Suns. He singled in the first inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and tripled in the seventh inning.
Jake Baumann picked up the win for East. Jake pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out three.
The Suns went up for good in the first, scoring two runs on two doubles.
They brought home one run in the sixth inning, and matched that run total in the seventh. In the sixth, East scored, bringing home Carlitos.
