Game Notes: Middleton opened the game with a solid base hit, but that would be the last time any Middleton player reached base. Alyssa only had one strikeout in 5 innings of work, but was backed up by good defense from every position. Verona stormed out of the gate, scoring 6 runs in the first inning. The Wildcats picked up a single run in the 2nd and 4th innings and finished them off in the 5th with two more. Amber was perfect at 3 for 3 while Erika, Jillian, Allysa, Zoe, Jessica, and Sydney all had 2 hits.
