Game
Notes:
After some tough games in Florida, the Wildcats were ready to get the conference season started Tuesday night against Madison West. It was a chilly one with the wind blowing hard. Verona struck first in the first inning with a single from Jillian Bauer that scored Kelly Gavigan. Gavigan scored again in the next inning on a far hit double by Emma Ray. West put up a good fight for a while, but the Cats were just too good for them. It was a combined win from solid defense and good bats as Verona carded a 9-3 victory. Next up for the Wildcats is Parker this Wednesday down in Janesville.
