Notes:
They will be known as the magnificent 7, Owen,Mason, AJ, Bodin,Marshall,Andrew, and Rhett. They may have been small in numbers but the heart they showed today was enormous. the Boys came out hard against the wild and managed to keep the game close for the 1st period. The wild then started to take the game over in the 2nd period and it looked like all hope was lost when the wilds best player streaked in on a breakaway. He faked left then right and put a hard shot toward the top corner, but to his surprise Big Owen with his lightening fast reflexes somehow got a piece of it to save the day. the Jets were so inspired by their goaltender that they came out blasting in third period. Marshall would score a couple beauties, Andrew was also really strong today, and the Jets really showed what they were made of. Owen who was not feeling great today, hung in there and never gave up and his turning point save made the difference for the Jets. Owen was awarded the hardest working Jet award for his efforts. |
